10,000 North Korean soldiers ready for Russia’s war in Ukraine

Tell me who you’re with and I’ll tell you who you are. This is a Norwegian proverb. In this case, it’s Russia and North Korea. Some time ago, dictator Putin visited his close ally in North Korea. As a result, the dictatorship in North Korea sent 10,000 soldiers to his friend Putin to fight in Ukraine.
A war between democracy and dictatorship
“It’s quite clear that the almost three-year war in Europe is a war between two different ideologies. It is a battle between dictatorships and democracies. 10,000 soldiers from North Korea is an escalation of an already brutal war. Probably between 300,000 and 500,000 lives have been lost. On top of this comes an even greater number of injured. Half a million people have been killed for a dictator’s desire to rebuild the Soviet empire.
Until now, the democratic countries have sat back and watched the war rather calmly. Yes, weapons have been sent to Ukraine, but no soldiers. The fear of escalating the war is the reason. Now the war has escalated further, what will Germany, France, the UK, Norway, Sweden and the other democracies in Western Europe do? What about the US after the presidential election?
10,000 Western soldiers or cowardice?

Ukraine does not have enough human resources to withstand an ever-increasing use of foreign soldiers from the Russian side. Read my blog where I write that Ukraine needs soldiers. The question is whether Ukraine should be sacrificed or not. Should Western Europe and the US sacrifice a democratic country? 10,000 Western soldiers will probably offset a lot.
My answer is simple. No democracies should be sacrificed to dictators’ urge for expansion. Not an inch of Europe’s democracies should be given away to Russia’s dictator. Putin is the Hitler of today. It’s time to send soldiers to Ukraine. If Western Europe doesn’t act now, the question is who will be next in Putin’s quest to rebuild his empire. Is it Moldova, Georgia, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania or Poland?
