WHO AM I AND WHY DID I DECIDE TO START BLOGGING AT ALL?

WHO AM I AND WHY DID I DECIDE TO START BLOGGING AT ALL?

It so happened that fate gave me the opportunity to write for the general public about life in Kyiv. Not about what is written in the news, and not about what the big media platforms are trying to tell.

My goal is to show the truth and life in Ukraine as it is. I try to get to know and ask witnesses different things, stories to write this blog for you. It’s interesting because I feel like a little detective chasing a righteous cause.

Before, I did not think that I would be engaged in such an activity, it is very interesting. And since my last blog, quite a few events have happened in Ukraine. Some were loud and some were not.

GET TO KNOW ME:

I am the daughter of a military man and a wonderful Ukrainian woman who cares for her husband, my father, with all her heart. Our family was ordinary and led a peaceful life, but everything changed with the advent of the war.

Men took up arms for the first time to defend themselves, to protect their families and their homes – that’s who you can really call heroes. I do not condemn those who choose to leave the country, each person has his own choice and his own path. But this blog is about the hearts of those who stayed to fight to the end.

My family is not an exception, but it is not something special nowadays, there are many of them here, and my mother and I only try to help the military, passers-by or various volunteer centers.

TIME IS SLOWLY ERASING EVERYTHING INTO DUST.

The war has been going on for a long time, and over time everything begins to depreciate. Even with this terrible phenomenon… Humans have a wonderful adaptation, so advanced that even war becomes a habit.

Many simply close their eyes and do nothing. Maybe that’s why I started writing a blog, to be in touch with ordinary people like me.

MUTUAL AID, WHY UKRAINIANS NEED VOLUNTEERING.

Unfortunately, the government cannot really fully use the receipt of funds from other countries to help the people, everyone and everything.

There are many injured people, animals or important buildings. Moreover, there are many other military or strategic objectives that ordinary people are not aware of.

That is why people still hang on to other equally simple people. Someone helps with their hands, and someone donates not for the war, but really for helping people.

I urge you not to be indifferent and, if possible, to make your contribution that will bring a smile to someone.

Recently, I met a girl, and it turned out that her husband is engaged in targeted volunteering. This means that he himself chooses whom to help, carefully studying the history of the victim, in order to minimize the cases where help is received by fraudsters.

I see this approach and I trust this person because he does a lot of work to find and help a specific person and not just send money to a fund.

If you feel the same way I do and want to help him do good, I’ll leave his PayPal here so you can just join it.

BIG EVENTS AND THE NEXT BLOG:

Recently, Ukraine’s main children’s hospital “Okhmatdet” was destroyed in Kyiv after a missile attack by Russia. There’s been a lot of buzz around this story, and it’s understandable why.

However, if you are among those who financially support Ukraine, be careful, because Russia is organizing false meetings to rob those who want to help and use those funds for missiles to cause even more damage.

In the next blog, I will highlight the hottest news in Ukraine about mobilization, destruction and blackouts.
