Russia’s plans for its imperialism

Russia’s plans for its imperialism

Several European media have gained access to a Russian document which tells in detail about the plans to take over and incorporate Belarus into today’s Russia. Similar plans also exist for Ukraine, Moldova, Lithuania, Estonia and Latvia. This is Russian imperialism.

Old post

This post is over 1 year old. The content might therefore be less relevant now.

Started with Ukraine

According to the document, Russia should have full control of Ukraine after one year after the start of the war. That is, having installed a Putin-friendly government, or incorporated Ukraine completely into Russia. They should have full control over the media and the military. The document also states that the Belarusian language is to be banned and Belarusian culture is to be undermined. This is probably also part of Putin’s plans for Ukraine.

In Ukraine, we see widespread kidnapping of Ukrainian children from the areas Russia has taken control of. In the document, which several sources have gained access to, it is also said that children in Belarus should be outraged to learn Russian culture and patriotism. I call this brainwashing. The case with Ukrainian children is that many have been forcibly adopted by Russian parents.

Imperialism, reminiscent of Hitler’s dream of the Third Reich

As I have written in a previous blog . The dream of restoring the Russian Empire lives on among many Russians. As many have warned against several times, Putin’s goal is not to stop at Ukraine’s borders. The goal is something completely different and much bigger.

Svetlana Tikhanovskaja is the most famous Belarusian oppositionist. She currently lives in exile, while her husband is imprisoned in Belarus. She probably won the last presidential election in Belarus, but extensive electoral fraud meant that dictator Lukashenko apparently got 80% of the vote. Tikhanovskaya describes Belarus as a country that is under “creeping occupation by Russia”. Incumbent President Lukashenko is totally dependent on Russia’s goodwill to stay in power.

The dream of rebuilding the old Russian empire brings to mind Hitler’s dream of rebuilding Germany. It’s called imperialism. We find these plans rooted in a dream reminiscent of Hitler’s.
