War crimes are revealed after the Russian withdrawal

War crimes are revealed after the Russian withdrawal

The invasion of Ukraine has failed in many areas for Russia. After a month-long attempt to capture the capital Kyiv, Russian troops have now been driven back to Belarus. Now come horrific war crimes for a day. Dead civilians trapped in the streets of Butsja, it also discovered a mass grave with 280 bodies of civilians. Probably shot when they tried to escape to western Ukraine. War crimes are also reported in eastern Ukraine. Civilian shots fired by Russians for no reason in the areas occupied by Russia.

Old post

This post is over 1 year old. The content might therefore be less relevant now.

Amnesty confirms war crimes

Amnesty International accuses Russia of war crimes in the same way as it did in Syria. Mariupol is compared to the Syrian city of Aleppo. So-called safe corridors for civilians to leave these cities are pure death traps.

Probably a factor as to why they’re doing so poorly in Butsja. According to the mayor of the city, the mass grave with 280 dead is said to be civilians who tried to flee the acts of war to western Ukraine. In the city, all men between the ages of 16 and 60 were executed when the Russian forces withdrew.

Rape and starvation

Women are raped by Russian soldiers and hunger is used as a weapon of war, especially in the besieged city of Mariupol. Lack of food is used to weaken the morale of the enemy and the hope that the population will turn its back on Ukraine is probably the reason why humanitarian aid does not enter.

The world community is almost paralyzed. The UN Security Council is referred to by Amenesty as the Security Council. The problem with the Security Council as it is today is that the 5 countries USA, Great Britain, France, China and Russia have a veto. Russia is blocking all attempts at a decision that is not in Russia’s favor as the aggressive party to the war.

Ukraine has recently taken back the entire area of Kyiv over which Russia had control. Areas in the east are also being liberated from the Russians, although a major Russian offensive is expected there. We will probably get even more gruesome images as areas are liberated.
